An Angel's Descent

Covering your eyes, you open them expecting bright light. However the area you are in seems darker. Slowly as your eyes try to adjust to this void-like area, you see white light filtering through sharp rocks far above you.

You try to take a step forward towards the light only to discover you are laying down.


You sit up, and you can see a few feet around you.

Dark shapes seem to be floating by, and more spiked rocks jut out from the ground.

You recall who you are.

You are a female, named Ivangeline. You are one of God's Angels.

You think you see the bright light of your halo, so you reach down to pick it up...


But it was just a crevice emitting an odd yellow smoke. Best to get away from it as it may be toxic. Your halo is gone.

As said, get away from it. Try and see if you can find something less dangerous, and possibly examine the rocks about. There might be a small secret.

Standing up, and brushing yourself off, you walk to the rocks, avoiding the unknown gas. You reach out to grab a jagged ridge. You break off a piece, to use it for self-defense.




But it cuts your hand, and you drop it instinctively.

Ouch, be careful when you grab the rock again with your left hand this time. Dont get your hand infected so now then the left hand should be your task doer until you find a way to stop bleeding.

An old woman's face was staring down at you, eyes plucked out and a large gash on her cheek. Dark shapes continued to float by behind her.

Having a friendly, angelic nature won out, and you felt pity for this soul. You want to talk to her, but she does not speak back, staring at you without eyes. Instead she lifts a ghostly arm and points in the direction the line is moving. You see two moving red light far in the distance.

I say, you should move towards the lights while carefully gripping the stone.

You thank her, and her skin begins to dissolve. She says nothing, and remains beside you as you look towards the lights, now you can see 6, as well as the beginning of the line.

Thinking about how much time it took the creator to make this picture, you look to the old woman to see a gruesome form.

She shrieks, "It's all your fault!" at you and advances, fangs well at the ready.

You stab it in the eye with the shard. You forgot the 'throw' part, but it was effective, getting a hellish scream from the demonic soul. The other ghosts passing by didn't bother to look--too absorbed in the task of getting to the ornate black gates.

The old woman sinks a scythe into your arm, cutting deep. You get spattered in blood, both yours are the demon. A bow magically appears on your head to help ease the pain, which surprises you. Flinching away, and holding your arm you run to the gate. In which you are greeted:
