The Escape

This game is similar to a point and click adventure game. currently you're locked in a room and must use the things around the room to get out. The author, me, will pick whichever one he thinks would be the most helpful or amusing, and use it. Play away:




You wake up in a steam room. You don't seem to remember much. Though you're in a steam room, you still have your jacket and heavy jeans on. You're starting to break a sweat. There's a door to your left, a window and vent above you, and the rock stuff in the middle is still making steam. You probably should've read about something like this before entering an odd situation such as this. You feel the back of your head, and it hurts. It seems you weren't put here by choice. You remember your name, but prefer to go by 'D'. So, D, what to do now?

Uhhh, I pick up a rock, throw it at the vent, the vent brakes, and I climb in it. :3

That's a great idea! You pick up a rock. *sizzle*! OW! You scolded your hand a bit. those things are pretty hot. Guess we'll be doing something else then.

You pick up the 'thingy'. It turns out to be the door knob, fallen off with a bit of string attached to it. The door still seems stuck closed for some reason. Oh well. You place the Knob in one hand and the end of the string in the other. Seems like you could chuck it and pull it back with the string. you're beginning to break into a sweat a bit.

You take off your jacket and sit on the part of the bench next to the door to think of what to do now. You'd rather keep your jeans on for modesty's sake, it seems you're going commando today. Next step?

use your jacket to pick up the burning rock and sling it at the vent, just like Linus and his blanket. If it fails, burn yourself. If it works, dance around the room.

pick up that other thingy next to the seats and take the doorknob with the string tie it to your finger and THROW it at the window there in hopes to shatter it 8DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Ok, today's is gonna be a tad big. but, it comes with a character list!:



Yeah, I know, Not much right now, But it'll get bigger once we get out of this sauna.

You break it! You do your victory 'Titan Stance', but then realize that you can't fit through the window, nor easily reach it.

You find a note. It appears you had it in your pocket. It reads:

Dear D,

I'm gonna be late coming home today, tell the guys not to worry, just stopping by a place real quick. Some treatment center. I'll send the directions to pick me up so you can pick me up and hang later. Love ya big bro!

Huh. This is apparently a note to you from someone who appears to be your little sister. Do you even have a little sister? Oh well, stuff to figure out after we leave. Anything you want to do before leaving through the vent, or just get outta here?

Keep a couple of rocks in your pockets or something so you can burn people later or something like that.
Oh and make some sweet origami thing to give to someone later.

I reply so there are not 13 replies. BTW, you need to dance some more for your victories. Like go all out.

wait until the rocks cool down, then dig through the pile to see if there is anything hidden under the rocks.

D checks around, and indeed there are glass shards. D carefully pockets them with the note around them so he doesn't cut himself.

Check your inventory to see if there's anything interesting. After, go through the vent...

D does so. There's another note in D's pocket. It's ripped, but D makes out the words 'dire consequences". Eery. On that note, D feels he should go through the vent. D climbs in and moves on his elbows, as the steam has rendered the metal inside to scolding level, and he's already burned his hand once today.

however, eventually he realizes this doesn't lead anywhere else but one way, and stops at a point where there is a grate in front of him. he prepares to give it what-for, but just then the vent caves in under him!



There's a small cat there. He seems hungry, and surprised at D's entrance, appropriately. The Cat asks if D is ok. D responds that he's fine.



He shakes D's hand and tells him his name is Olli. He seems friendly enough, if a little weak.



And so we've met our first character to meet D! Olli the cat! Also, don't be afraid to discuss stuff here, it isn't just command, command, command, be social! Have fun playing!

Also, ask him if he's seen anyone else around here

examine your surrounding, and pick up whatever that box things is
also ask Olli if he know's what happened and then look into that glass thing on the left side
and dont forget to try and open the door
lols and ask Olli if he knows Gwen as well as what he has
and see if you can use the grating that you broke when you fell down for anything.

Let's ask him how he's come into this locked places. Then check out that thing lying on the ground, left to you. Check your bag for something edible. Ask him wether he knows where that blood stain's from.

Something funny: Yell out "I know you're listening." Just to scare someone if they are watching you.

But first thing's first. Ask Olli how long he has been in here, how he got there, and/or if he knows anything about the room and it's... notable features.

Other than that, D might want to examine the said features for himself.

Hmm... this is starting to look a lot like Ruby Quest in terms of chronological order. In this case, descending to a new room to find a new person. In both cases, a cat. Also an unexplained blood splatter... (not that that's a bad thing; just don't follow Ruby Quest exactly now...!)

Olli says he doesn't remember how he got in here or what happened, but he does say he remembers looking for someone, a girl, but he doesn't know who she is. He says he feels queasy about the blood and though he doesn't remember, doubts he had anything to do with it.

D yells out "I know you're listening!". No response, besides Olli looking at him funny.

D examines the box. It can be opened, but the Doorknob Yo-yo ain't gonna cut it.

You swing the metal panel with all your might. It smacks directly on target and sends the metal box flying!



Right through the 'mirror'. Looks like we've got another room on our hands.

Ask if anyone was hurt and look through the currently small hole in the mirror. Wait for a response to see if there will be any. Otherwise, break open the window even more and jump through the hole. Explore the room.
