My new project.
I've started working on a TSI movie. I'm not willing to give much of the story away, but I'm amazed that amalloc spent the time to animate the way he did. It's seriously hard. Anyways, I'll update you guys from time to time on the status. Status Update: 1% complete. Oh, the song will be Only One by Yellowcard.

Trust me, no you don't. My previous work on NG was from at least 3 - 4 years ago. Go into this new movie with an open mind.

Re: My new project.
My storyboards are almost finished, and I have a fairly good idea on what I'm going to do. The story I will use is unique, and has never been done(I hope)before, at least in a TSI movie. The only details I will give on the story is that it will take place five years after TSI, then 15 years, and finally 40 years after. This story will be part Step 3, and part Step 4. I'll keep you guys posted on my status.

Character model for Doki is done. Nabi will be finished soon. This project will take me at least four months to finish. Amalloc animates in a really odd way.

It's really hard to explain. Basically, instead of animating with multiple objects(Foot, lower leg, upper leg, etc.), he takes one object and uses the curve tool to animate it. It's a serious pain in the ass rear.

...or that Amalloc animates using the old fashioned way? Before Flash were used, animators had to draw each frame of animation by hand, which only consisted of two layers: the character(s) and/or object(s), and the background.HomsarR wrote:It's really hard to explain. Of course, Amalloc used Flash, but still used the "old" method. Personally, I think this is the only way an animation should be made. Having multiple objects may make the job easier, sure, but animating all of the objects usually isn't nearly as smooth as the above method.

Dang it Dqle, why do you always have to sound so smart? I'm using five layers. Background, arms, legs, bodies, and heads/faces.
